Jaipur Polo Season

It’s polo season in India, amid heavy fog and the well-bred man and horse alike are again face off on grassy field, endlessly mingling sport and spectacle at the Rajasthan Polo Ground in Jaipur-Rajasthan. The Rajasthan Polo Club had organized Polo Tournaments under the aegis of Indian Polo Association as a part of its calendar season from 02nd Jan 2013 to 02nd Feb 2013 at Jaipur. All top players of the country will be seen in action in the polo season.

The foreign players from Switzerland, Australia and England will also be vying in the polo season. In fact, the Australian team comprising Greg Johnson, Nick Bowen, Matt Welsh and Glindon Webster will be playing on January 10 for the Ozfest Australian Polo Cup. And for the first time the club is bringing a foreign professional umpire for the season. He will be umpiring throughout the season while one umpire will be Indian.

Four tournaments are organized besides a few exhibition matches. The tournaments to be played during this season are as under :-
