Cameras rolling-Light, Sound and Action!!

The musical extravaganza is just around the corners! Visitors to Akbari Quila in Ajmer will get to enjoy a 45-minute sound and light show narrated by renowned lyricist Gulzar from Friday! Wooahh 🙂

The main attraction of the event will be a song dedicated to revered Sufi Saint Moinuddin Chisti ‘Garib Nawaz’ which has been penned down by noted lyricist Prasoon Joshi as sung by Playback singer Sonu Nigam and the music being composed by Sajid-Wajid!

Ok, so that’s all about having panache. But the event offers some historical vibes, which infuses the feel of golden era as well!

It’s when the musical extravaganza will take the audience to historic days portraying the valor of Rajput ruler Prithviraj Chauhan, the history of Mughal kings while in Ajmer, including the significant treaty signed by Jahangir and Sir Thomas Roe with the religious significance of Pushkar.

This sound and light project has been set up on a PPP (Private Public Partnership) model by the state department of Archaeology and Museums and a Private – company at an approximate cost of Rs. 2 crores, according to Ajay Sharma, assistant director, Tourism Department.

As all appraise that music transcends all boundaries so also the English version of the show will be ready in few upcoming months whereas the state Tourism Minister Bina Kak will introduce the Hindi version of the show!

But if you miss out then you can opt for such shows which are also operational at the Amer Fort and Jantar Mantar in Jaipur, Chittorgarh fort and Kumbhalgarh fort, so just go in for any of the venues and indulge your soul on hymns and chores; rhymes and chimes! 🙂
