For three days the imposing Lake Palace in Udaipur will recede into the background as bird lovers gather with binoculars at the Pichola Lake.
With the joint initiative of department of tourism and state forest department (Wildlife wing), a three-day ‘Udaipur Bird Fair’ is being organized on December 20-22, 2014 at Pichola Lake in Udaipur to boost eco-tourism. The event will allow bird, wildlife and environment enthusiasts to soak in the wonderful sights and sounds of the rich habitat of Udaipur.
“The Udaipur Bird Fair-2014 is an effort to put Udaipur on the bird watching map of India as a popular birding and eco-tourism destination. Now in its second year, the event is proposed to be held annually in the successive years,” said Vikram Singh director tourism.
