Visiting Jaipur Monuments become costlier now!


History lovers would now have to pay extra bucks for visiting these monuments.

The department of Archaeology and museums has recently increased the price of tickets at various monuments of the Pink City, so those who are visiting these monuments to experience the rich culture of heritage city now be pre[pared to shell out more money. This is the first time in last 8 years when the ticket for Hawa Mahal has been hiked. The new rates are applicable form October itself. In Jaipur, ticket prices of Amber fort, Nahargarh fort, Sisodia garden etc have been increased. On the other hand, the price of tickets of museums and monuments outside Jaipur city has also increased.

Apart from Jaipur city, the multiple ticket  of historical monuments in the Jodhpur, Udaipur, Bundi and Jaisalmer  have also seen a steep hike..

The only good news is that the price for students have not been increased both for national and foreign students, where the composite ticket is Rs40 and Rs200 for national and foreign students respectively.

National Tourist- Increased by Rs. 200, from Rs100 increased to Rs300

Foreign Toursit- Increased by 600/-, from Rs. 400 to Rs. 1000.

For national tourists, the composite ticket price has been increased from Rs100 to Rs300 and for foreign tourist the rate has been hiked from Rs400 to Rs1000.
