On the occasion of Krishna Janmotsav (birth of Lord Krishna), two-day Kaman Festival is being organized in Bharatpur which began today. The festival started with ‘Shehnai Vadan’ at Shri Gokul Chandrama and Madan Mohan Mandir at 5 am. Followed by this are performances by various groups at 8pm.
On the second day i.e. tomorrow 26th August, Nandotsav will be celebrated at Shri Gokul Chandrama and Madan Mohan Mandir at 9 am. It will be followed by a procession which will be starting from Shri Madan Mohan Mandir at 4 am. Artists will be showcasing their talents during this procession.

At 5.30 pm tomorrow the procession will reach Kot Upar Stadium where Dadhi Dan Leeela, Matki Phod and various other programmes will take place. Accompanied by this will be the cultural performances by artists from various parts of the state like Kalbeliya dance (from Jaipur), Algoza and Chari Dance (from Tonk), Mayur Dance and Phoolon Ki Holi (From Deeg), Musical performances Bhapang (from Kaithvada).
