Rajasthan Government is leaving no stone unturned to improve the tourism facilities and to woo the tourists coming to the state this year! In an initiative to offer more rooms and other lodging facilities to the tourists, now Rajasthan’s Dak Bungalows will be developed like three star hotels on public-private partnership (PPP) model.
Dak Bungalow is was a government building in British India under Company Rule and Rajasthan. It may also refer to some similarly-built or -used structures in modern India.
In the first phase of the project, Dak Bungalows in Ajmer, Bharatpur, Jaipur, Jodhpur, Bikaner, Alwar, Bhilwara, Jaisalmer, Mount Abu and Nathdwara will be developed in PPP model, a statement quoting PWD minister Yunus Khan said.
About 20 per cent of the rooms in the Dak Bungalows will be reserved for government officials and other employees and remaining 80 per cent will be open for all.
Dak Bungalows in Ajmer, Bharatpur, Jaipur, Jodhpur, Bikaner, Alwar, Bhilwara, Jaisalmer, Mount Abu and Nathdwara will be developed for the tourists in Rajasthan.
