Unconventional and unique like its name, the ‘Vedaaeranya Heritage Festival’ is set to mesmerize the locals and tourists in Rajasthan with some over the top activities and sessions! The State tourism department and Shruti Foundation in collaboration with All Ladies League will be organizing a four-day ‘Vedaaeranya Heritage Festival’ (VHAH) from December 6-9, 2016.
The festival, which will take place at Ramgarh Shekhawati in Sikar, will be aiming at recreating the splendor of the region which is talked about for its wall paintings, heritage havelis and moreover local artists.”The VHAH Fest will focus on the resurgence of this living heritage of the region. The underlying objective is creative, social and economic development of the local artistes of Ramgarh Shekhawati region.
Spectacular shows and a plethora of activities will take place throughout the festival. There would be interactive sessions on “The Healing Power of Mantra” by Shruti, ‘Genius of Indian Scientific Heritage’ by Mathematics genius Prof C K Raju; master classes on ‘Gems From Our Spiritual Heritage’ by MP Dinesh Trivedi; ‘Meditation for Concentration’ by Aditya Ahluwalia and ‘Ramgarh Ke Deewaron Ki Kahaniyan’ by Guru Shovana Narayan on stories painted as frescoes on Ramgarh Shekhawati havelis.

Hundreds of people thronged along the famous Fateh Sagar lakeside on the first day of the festival in Udaipur on Friday. The event is being held in association with the Municipal Corporation and Urban Improvement Trust.

In the evening yesterday, audience were spell bound by the live cultural program given by Jaipur Beats Band.
