Flights will start operating soon from Kishangarh Airport which is set to be inaugurated today at 2:30 PM. The airport has got the licence from Directorate General of Civil Aviation.
Airport has also got permission to ply a 50-seater aircraft between Kishangarh and Delhi. Most likely, flights will start operating from 25th of October from this airport which is the 7th in Rajasthan. The airport will have six check-in counters and the capacity of 150 passengers.
The step will boost the business in this city which is famous for its marble. Tourists wishing to visit Kishangarh and nearby cities like Ajmer and Pushkar will also be benefited. Minister of State for Civil Aviation Jayant Sinha and Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje will do the honours.
